SDV Construction, Inc. is committed to the safety and health of its employees. SDV places safety and health above all else and involves all employees at every level in establishing, implementing, and evaluating its safety efforts. SDV's Safety Plan is required reading for all employees and subcontractors prior to starting any work under contract.  Subcontractors are contractually obligated to comply with the SDV Safety Plan. We update the company Safety Plan on a regular basis to incorporate industry "best practices" and to keep it vital and relevant. We are very proud of our safety record and believe it is indicative of the high standards of our company.

SDV was twice named the winner of the Associated Builders and Contractors National Safety Pinnacle Award. SDV also earned the National Safety Award of Excellence.

“SDV Construction’s safety record demonstrates how a company-wide commitment to safety as a core value can deliver worldclass results,” said ABC National Chair David Chapin. “SDV Construction’s safety record shows that in a culture that emphasizes safety and caring for its people, every incident is preventable and we can help drive the construction industry toward zero-incident jobsites. Our ultimate goal is that every employee returns home in the same--or better--condition in which they arrived.”

SDV is a participant in the New Mexico OSHA CLAS (Construction Leaders Agreement for Safety) which is collaboration between the State OSHA office and the construction industry.
