VA Community Living Center

Maintaining the quality of life for our Veterans is the most important aspect of this project. It was our responsibility to assure that the Veterans were at the forefront of our decision-making. This project was the first of 6 LEED equivalent ground-up buildings. SDV completed Phase one which included 13,500 sq. ft. of new construction of a cottage and community center to be used for rehabilitation and long-term care patients.

The 10 bed, 8,000 s.f., cottage includes single rooms with private bathrooms, a dining area, laundry area, and spa bath. The 5,500 s.f. Community Center includes a multipurpose room with stage, great room, an Internet café, barber shop, conference room, and administrative offices.
